“I trusted Morgan to launch my website when I first decided to open my own business 3 years ago and have since used her numerous times for all sorts of projects related to the business. Saying that Morgan understands the assignment is an understatement. She kills it each and every time with minimal work on my end. She just gets the vision! I am always blown away with her work and love building my business with her by my side.”

Our work together

Dorentina is who you go to when you actually want beautiful skin, not a facial that photographs well. She's a licensed esthetician with a clinical focus in acne-prone skin, and her brand says the thing most beauty brands won't: healthy skin is the goal, not perfect skin, and getting there takes honesty. She's been featured in DERMASCOPE magazine as one of the country's supreme safe spaces for facials. She's steadily booked and her books are closed to new clients. That's not a marketing tactic, that's just what happens when the work is that good.

Where she was when she came to me

The very beginning. Dorentina came to me before J'adorentina existed as a brand, back when it was a skill, a plan, and a whole lot of nerve.

She already had the hands. What she didn't have yet was the world around them. So we built the entire thing from scratch, together. Brand identity, positioning, voice, and the website for her services.

Every decision came out of one question: what does it feel like to sit in her chair, and how do we make a stranger feel that before she ever books.

What we built first

The positioning came before anything pretty. We led with honesty over aesthetics, which is a risky move in beauty and exactly why it works. It filters out the client looking for a quick fix and pulls in the one who wants her skin actually handled.

Then the identity and the service website, built to do the qualifying work for her. By the time someone reaches out, she's already sold.

And the waitlist got treated as an asset, not a limitation. Existing clients only reads as a standard when the brand is built to carry it. That was a deliberate choice from the start.

What's happened since

Watching a client move into an entirely new sector of her business is my favorite thing that happens in this job. Dorentina went from esthetician to ecommerce.

We built her Shopify store so the studio experience could continue at home, then designed the packaging suite that ships it. A multi-size retail bag system, the mailer, and an editorial thank you card that goes inside every order. We sourced the bags down to the black ribbon handles, because the bag is the last thing a client touches on her way out and the first thing a stranger sees her carrying.

Now it’s your turn

Building something from scratch?

Brand strategy, identity, and web design for the woman who has the skill and is ready for the world around it.
