I Took Becca Luna’s Courses Four Years Ago. This Is the Room I Wish I Had Then.

When I first found Becca Luna, the Wealthy Web Designer world looked very different than it does today.

I didn’t join some giant ecosystem with multiple coaching calls, a community full of other designers, people helping me implement what I was learning, and places to bring my work when I had no idea whether it was actually good.

I had the courses.

And I took them.

I learned the skill. I implemented what I was learning. I built Wild Powerful. I booked clients. I raised my prices. I got things wrong, fixed them, got better, and eventually built a business that looked completely different from the life I had before it.

Those courses genuinely changed the direction of my life.

I’ve actually sat down with Becca more than once over the years to talk about that journey, so instead of giving you the overly polished version here, I’m going to link those conversations too.

But now that I work inside Wealthy Web Designer Academy as Student Success Coach, there is one thought I have constantly:

I really wish this version of the room existed when I was starting.

Because what students are getting now is so much bigger than a library of courses.

And I think that distinction matters when you’re deciding whether the Academy is worth joining.

Yes, you get the courses. And you keep them.

When you enroll in Wealthy Web Designer Academy, you get lifetime access to the included courses.

That matters because you are not going to learn this business once.

Something you watch before booking your first client is going to hit completely differently when you come back to it after client number five.

Pricing makes more sense after you’ve actually had someone say yes.

Client strategy makes more sense after you’ve sat across from a real client.

Selling makes more sense once you understand what you’re actually selling.

The Academy’s larger method is designed around learning strategy and design, learning how to attract clients, and then turning that creative skill into something capable of building longer-term wealth.

So yes, the courses matter.

But what makes the Academy feel so different from the way I originally learned is everything surrounding them.

You’re not starting your business from a blank Google Doc

One of the biggest things I see beginners waste time on is reinventing absolutely everything.

What should my website say?

What niche should I choose?

What should my contract look like?

What pages do I need?

How should I launch?

What should I charge?

Suddenly you’ve spent three weeks designing your own business and zero minutes actually trying to get paid.

The Academy gives students resources to reduce a lot of that friction.

There’s a website designed specifically for web designers.

There are resources showing you high-ticket niches you can explore instead of randomly picking an industry because somebody on TikTok said dentists have money.

There are business tools and templates.

You get access to Becca AI.

The Academy materials also include launch resources like a website, launch graphics, and a client contract designed to help students actually get moving.

And then there’s one of the things new service providers care about most:

Clients.

There is literally a Client Matchmaker

One of the most intimidating questions when you’re learning web design is:

Okay, cool. But where do I find someone willing to pay me?

Inside the Academy, students get access to the Client Matchmaker, where client opportunities are dropped into the community.

That does not mean you join and magically wake up with a six-figure business.

You still have to become good at what you do.

You still have to market yourself.

You still have to submit yourself for opportunities, follow up, communicate well, and run an actual business.

But you aren’t learning inside a vacuum.

There are opportunities being brought into the room.

That is very different from how I started.

And then there’s the actual room

This might be my favorite part.

Because starting a creative business can be weirdly lonely.

You’re trying to explain to your friends why you spent six hours deciding whether your Website in a Day offer should be $1,500 or $2,000 and everybody is looking at you like:

Girl, I do not know.

😂

Inside the Academy, you are surrounded by women who are building the same kind of business.

Some are brand new.

Some are booking their first client.

Some are raising their prices.

Some are building day-rate offers.

Some are trying to get consistent.

Some are already making real money and figuring out what comes next.

The Academy itself describes the community as collaborative rather than competitive, with students celebrating each other’s wins, sharing referrals, meeting up, and building relationships beyond the coursework.

That matters.

Because information can tell you what to do.

Community can remind you that you’re not the only person struggling to do it.

And coaching can help you figure out what you need to do next.

Which brings me to the calls.

You have three places every week to get support

This is where I think the Academy becomes something completely different from buying a self-paced course and hoping your motivation survives.

There are three different calls serving three different purposes.

Implementation Lab

This is one of the calls I lead.

Implementation Lab is where we take whatever you’ve been learning and turn it into something real.

I’m significantly less interested in how many modules you watched than I am in what is now different in your business because you watched them.

Did you choose the niche?

Did you finish the offer?

Did you build the portfolio piece?

Did you send the proposal?

Did you publish the website?

Did you make the decision you’ve been putting off for three weeks?

That’s the work.

And having a place to come in and say, “Okay Morgan, here’s where I am. What am I missing?” is invaluable when you’re learning something new.

The current Academy specifically includes implementation support rather than expecting students to figure everything out alone.

The Marketing Room with Willow

Then you have Willow’s Marketing Room.

And listen.

If you’ve ever watched Becca’s business grow and thought, how the hell did this scale this fast?, obviously Becca is a boss-ass bitch in her own right.

But Willow is doing the damn thing.

This call is where students get to think beyond simply being talented designers and start becoming better business owners.

Marketing.

Offers.

Positioning.

Pricing.

Audience.

Demand.

Growth.

Because you can be an incredible web designer and still have nobody know you exist.

The Academy’s business coaching focuses on things like scaling, pricing, offers, leadership, and building a business designed for longer-term freedom.

You need the creative skill.

You also need to know how to build demand for it.

Design Office Hours

And then you come back to me.

Bring me your website.

Seriously. 😂

Design Office Hours is where I personally review student work.

Maybe the hierarchy feels wrong.

Maybe your homepage technically looks good but something still feels off.

Maybe the mobile layout is a hot little disaster.

Maybe the fonts aren’t working together.

Maybe your portfolio looks like a beginner portfolio and you want it to start looking more expensive.

Maybe you have stared at the same section for nine hours and genuinely cannot see it anymore.

Show me.

We’ll go through it.

I’ll tell you what I’d tweak, what I’d leave alone, where I think the design is losing you, and very often where you need to simply stop touching it and move on.

Design feedback is specifically part of the Academy’s coaching structure.

And this is the part I would have loved when I was learning:

Someone else’s eyes.

Not another tutorial.

Not another Pinterest board.

Someone who could look at what I was actually creating and help me make it better.

I probably would have gotten there faster

I’m proud of how I built Wild Powerful.

I figured a lot of things out through experience.

I eventually had a $24K month.

I built a real business from the education I originally bought.

I would never take that journey away from myself.

But do I think I probably could have gotten there faster if I also had a community, weekly implementation, marketing coaching, live design feedback, client opportunities, niche resources, AI tools, templates, and women doing the exact same thing beside me?

Girl.

Obviously.

😂

And that’s actually what makes working inside the Academy feel so special to me now.

I’m talking to women every week who remind me of myself four years ago.

They’re talented.

They’re excited.

They’re scared.

They’re trying to choose a niche.

They’re changing their offer for the twelfth time.

They’re worried their website isn’t good enough.

They’re terrified to send the price.

They’re wondering if they can really build a business from this.

And now I get to be one of the people who can say:

Come here. Show me what you’re working on. Let’s figure it out.

That feels really full circle.

This is genuinely the room I wish I had when I started.

If you’re thinking about joining, talk to me first

I don’t want to throw a random checkout link at you and tell you good luck.

That’s not how I want this experience to feel.

If you’re curious about Wealthy Web Designer Academy, DM me on Instagram at @WildPowerfulStudio.

Tell me where you’re at.

Maybe you’re completely new.

Maybe you’ve already taken a design course and still have no idea how to turn it into a business.

Maybe you already have a couple of clients but your pricing, marketing, or confidence is all over the place.

Maybe you’re simply trying to figure out if this is the right investment for you.

I get DMs from women about this all the time, and I’m happy to actually talk to you.

If it sounds like the Academy could be the right room, I’ll help get you connected with the team for a real sales conversation where you can ask questions and be properly taken care of through the enrollment process.

No click, buy, good luck.

You get an actual conversation.

You get onboarded.

You get introduced to the room.

And hopefully I get to say the fun part:

I can’t wait to see you Monday.

Disclosure: I work as Student Success Coach inside Wealthy Web Designer Academy and may receive referral or affiliate compensation if you ultimately enroll after connecting through me. I only want you joining if it actually makes sense for where you are.
